EdgeFest 2006 has been announced. Slated for Saturday, September 30th, the heritage event is moving in 2006 to Tempe Beach Park.

For the past 12 years, Edge 103.9 has produced this heritage 12-hour concert and festival event. EdgeFest captures over 15,000 consumers every year! Currently included in the 2006 EdgeFest Line-Up:

INCUBUS
9:30pm - 11:00pm

The band scored a multi-format radio smash and mass success in 2001with the lilting, sing-along "Drive," which hit #1 on Modern Rock charts and also landed in the uppermost reaches of the Top 40. Formed in 1991, Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, drummer Jose Pasillas and original bassist Dirk Lance (Ben Kenney joined in 2003 upon Lance's departure) began Incubus as high school sophomores in the San Fernando Valley. Incubus garnered double-platinum plaques for 1999's Make Yourself, including Top 10 hit "Pardon Me," "Stellar" as well as "Drive". 2001's Morning View debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and introduced such radio staples as "I Wish You Were Here", "Warning" and "Nice To Know You".

RISE AGAINST
8:15pm - 9:00pm

Founded in late 1999, the cohesive sound of Rise Against is actually a seamless melding of two musically independent worlds. Old school rock and a more melodic, early 90's Emo sound. Signing with Dreamworks at the end of 2003, the band hit this summer's Warped Tour. From there they hope to tour South Africa later this year, in an effort to spread the word of AIDS relief. The proactive nature of Rise Against is fully entrenched in their sound.

30 SECONDS TO MARS
7:00pm - 7:45

Their self-titled 2002 debut established the group as a fresh, new force, in the world of Alternative Rock. Lead singer Jared Leto has created a very lyrically direct sound with his rock band, but is no stranger to winning. He's acted in over 15 acclaimed films including Panic Room, Fight Club, and Alexander.

Authority Zero
6:00pm - 6:30pm

JACK'S MANNEQUIN
5:00pm - 5:30pm

The ethereal voice, songwriting powerhouse and full-contact keyboardist behind Something Corporate is bringing you Jack's Mannequin and his debut, Everything in Transit. What does Andrew McMahon hope to accomplish with Jack's Mannequin and Everything in Transit? A chance to vocalize a difficult period in his life, and to broaden his music landscape.

SHE WANTS REVENGE
4:00pm - 4:30

At first listen you might think SHE WANTS REVENGE hails from the across the Atlantic Ocean, or pond, or whatever you want to call it. But you would be painfully wrong. SHE WANTS REVENGE hails from the sunny shores of the Pacific Ocean, in a small town that we like to call L.A.
